Scott Walker is an award-winning art director and artist from Cambridge, England. With a professional career spread over three continents, Walker has a successful record of collaborating with a variety of the world's leading brands.
After completing a diploma in Graphic Design & Illustration at Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts, Walker received a BFA in Communication Design from Parsons in New York.
In 2012 he was granted his US working visa, confirming his status as an O1-B Alien with Extraordinary Abilities in the Arts and a year later his work was exhibited as part of the International Artist's Festival in Manhattan.
Since then Walker has gone on to produce world-class design solutions at leading creative agencies including HBO, Ogilvy & Mather, McCann, Publicis and Rockstar Games. His work has been consistently recognized with countless awards from leading design authorities around the world, and to date he has exhibited personal artwork at 6 different Galleries in New York – including his first solo show at Greenpoint Gallery in Brooklyn.
Walker's artwork is inspired by his ongoing interest in advertising and popular culture. Stylistically, his illustrative works are born from an obsessive pursuit to honor the bespoke principles of William Morris and more generally, the British Arts & Crafts movement. This highly detailed art form is contrasted by Walker's graphic design philosophy, which is primarily influenced by minimalism and specifically the significance of storytelling with as little information as possible.
